Terms & Conditions

1 · The project

BK Build Co. designs and builds a custom website for you as described in your brief and written quote. The project price is $300–$600, set in writing before work begins based on scope — a single-page site sits at the lower end; multiple pages with booking, galleries, or custom forms sit at the higher end.

Anything beyond what's described in your brief and quote is extra work, and will be quoted separately before it begins.

2 · Payment

A 50% deposit of the agreed price is due before work begins. The remaining 50% is due when the site goes live.

The deposit is non-refundable once work has started.

3 · Revisions

Four rounds of revisions are included after the first draft is shown. Extra revision rounds are billed at $50 each, agreed in advance.

4 · Your content

You provide all text, photos, logos, and other content within 14 days of agreeing to these terms. Delays in content push the launch date back by the same amount.

You confirm you own — or have the rights to — everything you provide.

5 · Timeline

Work begins when the deposit and your content are received. Your target launch date is set in your written quote. Dates are estimates; BK Build Co. will communicate promptly about any delay.

6 · Ownership

You own the finished website once the final payment is received. Domain registration and hosting stay in your name and on your payment method. BK Build Co. may show the finished site in its portfolio.

7 · Care plan (optional)

For $50/month, BK Build Co. handles hosting, domain renewals, updates, and small content changes — you don't touch any of it. Cancel anytime with 30 days' notice.

Without a care plan, you provide your own hosting account and domain (on your payment method), and BK Build Co. moves the finished site over and hands everything off at launch. After handoff, domain renewals and hosting are your responsibility, and any future changes are billed per request.

8 · Cancellation

Either side may cancel in writing. The deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel after work has begun, work completed beyond the deposit is billed at $75/hour. If BK Build Co. cancels, any amount you've paid beyond work completed is refunded.

9 · Agreement

Checking the agreement box and paying your deposit means you accept these terms, your brief, and your written quote together as the agreement for your project.
